didaskalia

A great Greek work, didaskalia, (did ask ya), English spelling of doctrine--actually means both teaching, or what is taught. I once had a guy, an elder of a church tell me I was only interested in doctrine, he wanted to stress the principals of the word. I told him the Lord Jesus was excited about doctrine, so should we. I think the apostle Paul would have been more forthright about the dangers of incorrect doctrine. I Tim 6:3-5
